GUILLOCHE ENAMEL

брошь_ангелочки_edited_edited_edited.png

The art of guilloche appeared and developed in the Middle Ages.  At that time, soft materials such as wood and ivory were decorated with fine line patterns using an ordinary lathe. A little later, in the south of Germany, a guilloche machine was invented for drawing circular patterns on metal. It is known that many famous people were fond of this art - Leonardo da Vinci, Russian sovereign Peter I, French kings Louis XV and Louis XVI, King of Prussia Frederick III and even English Queen Victoria.  Today UD "Fora" creates magnificent jewelry with guilloche enamels and precious stones in the best traditions of European jewelry art.
